Required Qualifications
A bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a directly related area of specialization; or a high school diploma and four years of experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocation/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Computer skills in MS Word and Excel good organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple administrative tasks. Prepares accounting entries as required (e.g journal transfers budget amendments yearend accruals.) Position requires experience or ability working with budgets from multiple funding sources.
Preferred Qualifications
Reconciles accounts on a monthly and yearly basis controls receipts and/or disbursements of funds to and from BCH accounts prepares requisitions for purchase change orders and blanket accounts monitors all purchases for the Deans Office provides fiscal reports and works closely with the Business Operations Manager. this job description in no way states that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying the position.
