GHDs Construction group has a great opportunity for aField Engineer.In this role you will work on project sites to assist the Superintendent with planning coordinating analyzing and understanding the scope of work for a variety of projects managing paperwork and change orders communicating with clients and coordinating schedules.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Assisting with project proposals including reviewing requests for proposals obtaining quotes and estimating
- Assisting the Project Manager with managing project timelines deadlines and requirements
- Acting as key point of contact for ordering materials and equipment
- GPS surveying and equipment set up
- Estimating takeoffs
- Assisting with weekly timesheets expense reports and project tracking
- Providing training to other team members as needed
What you will bring to the team:
- up to 2 years of professional construction experience
- AutoCAD / Civil 3D experience
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and rapidly changing priorities and project demands
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team and independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able & willing to travel throughout the United States up to 50% of the time
