Career Initiatives Construction & Engineering Instructor (July 17 2025)Job Type: Part-Time for the 2025-2026 School to: The Principal of Purcell Marian High SchoolJob Overview: Purcell Marians Career Initiatives Program is dedicated to preparing students for in demand skilled trades within our community. We strive to provide hands on real world experiences in construction and engineering empowering students to gain certifications skills and confidence for future careers or further education. We are seeking a part-time Construction & Engineering Instructor to join our team. This part time role focuses on delivering engaging lesson and practical learning to high school students while aligning with industry standards and safety best :Must be able to design and deliver lessons in construction and engineering principles: blueprint reading framing materials circuitry tools and hands on workshops and labs supporting current construction or engineering a safe organized classroom and lab environmentmonitoring tools and students in skill-building for and grade student work; provide feedback on performance and with school staff to integrate curriculum with math science and career with local tradespeople or firms to bring real-world insights or field effectively with students families and staff to support student fully in the life of the school including faith formation opportunities staff meetings and co-curricular :Bachelors degree requiredValid Ohio teaching license or ability to obtain appropriate professional experience in construction or engineering experience teaching or mentoring youth or adults in technical teaching experience at the high school level understanding of safety compliance and equipment classroom management and communication to Catholic education and the mission of Purcell Marian High send a cover letter and resume to Purcell Marian is focused on inclusivity and developing a diverse team.
