As a Senior Software Development Engineer you will work closely with crossfunctional teams to innovate and deliver highperformance lowpower stable connectivity platform for world class consumer products. You must be responsive flexible and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. In this role you will:
Design develop and enhance WiFi and networking software for Amazons consumer products; Optimize WiFi and network performance and power consumption for connectivity platforms; Engage with vendors to integrate WiFi chipset solutions; Collaborate with other software teams to design and deliver unique customer features on top of WiFi for nextgen Amazon products; Provide Amazon Customer Support technical assistance to trouble shoot customer issues.
7 years of noninternship professional software development experience 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team 3 years of handson experience in delivering WiFi/networking based products
5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience Masters degree in computer science or equivalent 3 years of experience and knowledge on IEEE802.11/WiFi protocols such as WiFi Direct WPA 802.11ac/ax and etc. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols such as DHCP DNS HTTP and etc.
