The role
As the WHS Lead at Sydney Olympic Park Authority (SOPA) youll be at the forefront of ensuring safety and wellbeing across the organisation. Your role involves overseeing systems procedures and operations to maintain compliance with WHS standards. Youll provide highlevel and strategic advice on risk management components such as hazard identification risk assessments and safety procedures while also leading the strategy across the diverse portfolio. Working closely with the Leadership Team Venue operators and precinct coordinators to deliver a sustainable yet strategic approach to risk management that is pragmatic in nature.
In this role youll collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver quality outputs and outstanding customer service. Youll need to stay updated on industry best practices and legislation to anticipate potential problems and provide effective solutions. By driving continuous improvement and engaging with WHS business partners youll help foster a highperformance WHS culture within SOPA.
