Job Description
Job Description: Music:
- Directs students to learn music.
- Works with choirs
- Coordinates activities with special groups.
- Provides for chorus participation at extracurricular events including concerts and community events.
- Cooperates with the school administration in providing music programs for school productions and as appropriate civic functions that enhance the students performing experience.
- Oversee scheduling and other arrangements for the rehearsals and concerts in cooperation with the building principal.
- Creates an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical social and emotional development of students.
- Provide an instructional program that is differentiated.
- Commitment to high student achievement & support for all students.
- Knowledge of the subject matter being taught.
- Exercise various teaching strategies to increase students critical thinking skills
- Create a secure classroom climate.
- Plan develop implement and monitor students with their success as your goal
- Use available technology in your lessons.
- Communicate effectively with parents and students.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Principal.
