High School English/Humanities Teacher Full time (1.0 FTE) Starting Date: August 22 2025 King David High School is a toprated independent school in central Vancouver with memberships in ISABC and CAIS. About the position: We are looking for a dedicated dynamic compassionate innovative and inspiring teacher to join our school family. A person with integrity the successful candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students to make a difference in the lives of others while working hard and having fun. King David is a young and growing school with approximately 270 students and 50 staff members. We are looking for an educator who will thrive in a relational setting and will support and implement a competencybased approach to teaching while caring for and supporting students emotional wellbeing and development. The specific courses and teaching schedule will be determined depending on the successful candidates skills to best meet both the teacher and the schools needs. The successful candidate will have a love of English literature writing and a joy for teaching adolescents. We are looking for candidates who truly want to use their passion to make a difference in the lives of our students. You must value diversity as it relates to all people including aspects of identity and have respect for indigenous traditions and ways of knowing. We also want you to know that you will be a valued and caredfor member of our school team.
