About the Role
Working closely with the Dean RRH and the leadership teams in SA and the NT the Deputy Dean RRH (NT) will be responsible for the implementation of initiatives in the Northern Territory aligned with the vision for Rural and Remote Health and the strategic priorities of the College of Medicine and Public Health and University. The Deputy Dean RRH (NT) will work collaboratively with the Dean RRH as well as academic and professional staff to ensure that the Rural and Remote Health vision and aligned objectives are achieved.
As a member of the RRH NT & SA Executive Team this position will contribute to the strategic leadership and management of the entire central Australian corridor and to the achievement of the strategic objectives of RRH endeavours. The Deputy Dean RRH (NT) will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing success of the Rural Remote programs and pursuing relevant growth opportunities in the NT.

About You
The Deputy Dean RRH (NT) is a leadership position that is vital to the success of the discipline and will require the services of a strong leader who has experience working outside of metropolitan areas. The successful candidate will have a great understanding of health and education systems across different environments and locations and they will also have experience managing teams across multiple campuses. This role requires inperson engagement and facetoface interactions with travel necessary across all NT campuses and locations.

Flinders Rural and Remote Health NT
Our postgraduate education pathways (Remote Health Practice program) provides workforce development through Indigenous health and clinical skills training and we have a community driven research program led by researchers committed to improving health outcomes. We work alongside Poche SANT focussing on Indigenous leadership capacity development and developing the Indigenous health workforce. All activities are driven by our values which focus on the longterm and shortterm needs of the NT community.
