Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a number of duties to trim fill sand and bond to prepare a variety of standard composite parts in accordance with shop orders oral and written instructions and blueprints.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures composite assemblies meet bonding cure specifications. - Hand Trim composite panels ensuring they meet quality requirements and engineering dimensions.
- Prepares composite surfaces by filling and sanding to a smooth surface.
- Uses small hand tools sanders drills routers adhesive applicators calipers gauges and other measuring instruments.
- Responsible only for own work.
- Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION:
Must have a high school diploma an equivalent certificate or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and Textron Aviations blueprint reading class is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
6 months of composites experience required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust noise heat fumes and liquids. Safety shoes and protective clothing could be required.
