Accountant
GRUBBRR is looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee general accounting operations This Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the dayday activities of the accounting department and not limited to accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciling account balances and bank statements maintaining general ledger and assist in the monthend close procedures. Must have excellent analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts in our fastpaced FinTech startup.

GRUBBRR is looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee general accounting operations This Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the dayday activities of the accounting department and not limited to accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciling account balances and bank statements maintaining general ledger and assist in the monthend close procedures. Must have excellent analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts in our fastpaced FinTech startup.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing and processing the monthly billing to customers and interacting with Customer Support to address any billing issued or customer concerns.
- Update and maintain revenue tracking reports and prepare monthly and annual recurring revenue reports.
- Process daily accounting functions including invoicing vendors payments expense reimbursements and ACH payments.
- Reconcile inventory monthly and update inventory tracking reports.
- Recording monthly reconciliation on revenues expenses and intercompany activity.
- Prepare monthly commission reports for sales representatives based on compensation plans and performance.
- Participate in the month end close process which includes preparation of month end journal entries account reconciliations special reporting and researching unusual items.
- Prepare ad hoc requests and participate in special projects. Manage and reconcile income and expenditure accounts reconcile the companys bank and credit card statements.
- Participate in preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements along with quarterly compliance reports.
- Participate in annual audits including preparing/providing account information and answering auditors questions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or similar related field.
- Experience in SaaS Revenue Recognition Rules and SaaS industry experience.
- Disciplined to follow defined processes yet creative to recommend/build new scalable approaches.
- Must possess a thorough understanding of accounting with the ability to apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulatory reporting requirements (as needed).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Polished verbal and written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly.
- 57 years professional accounting experience.
- Quick Books / NetSuite experience preferred.
