Job Description

To fulfil this role successfully you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree required or commensurate work experience in lieu thereof.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Three (3) or more years in revenue management or commensurate work experience in lieu thereof. (Flexible based on Hotel Profile)
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Three (3) years crossfunctional experience in hotel management or related industry essential. Cross brand or product line experience preferred.
  • Management Experience
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience at presenting in front of large groups

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Education: BA/BS/Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 5
  • Deep understanding of travel industry reservation and hotel property management systems.
  • Strong experience in hospitality forecasting pricing and inventory control
  • Hilton Worldwide software programs preferred.

The DoubleTree Boston Downtown and DoubleTree Boston Bayside are looking for a dynamic Complex Director of Revenue Management to join their team. With one property located in the heart of historical downtown Boston and another located 5 minutes to Harborwalk and Carson Beach you can contribute to their continued success.

TOTAL COMPLEX:

What will I be doing

The primary responsibility is to strategically drive Commercial performance by communicating and influencing inside the hotel and above property. As the Complex Director of Revenue Management you should have strong analytical skills and experience resolving daytoday tactical challenges while constantly thinking about strategic hotel opportunity. This position creates challenges and coordinates commercial strategies for all revenue streams within the hotel include but limited to; critical analysis on property wide decisions affecting pricing occupancy revenue goals and commercial planning. In this role you will conduct ongoing assessments of competitive sets and revenue management practices to understand demand and develop strategies. The position demands a very proactive relationship and regular communication with all hotel commercial leaders Hilton regional team company peers and ownership.

This position is also responsible for the following:

This Executive Committee position reports directly to the General Manager. This role is principally responsible for predicting consumer demand optimizing hotel inventory and challenging all hotel revenue performance through commercial planning. The position critically analyzes pricing decisions and their effects on occupancy RevPAR and rooms profit goals in the short mid and longterm booking windows while influencing the hotels full commercial direction. This position is a key member of the commercial leadership team driving performance for all revenue streams distribution channels and marketing activations. This leader cultivates a positive relationship based on trust and confidence with hotel leadership owners and asset management.
