Does the possibility of joining a team of passionate and hardworking human resource professionals sound promising to you The Allegheny County Department of Human Services (DHS) Bureau of Human Resources/Training and Payroll (BHRTP) is seeking a motivated Human Resource Analyst 2 to providea wide variety of human resource and other related administrative functions. If you have a comprehensive working knowledge of human resource principles and practices conflict resolution complaint investigation policy interpretation and policies this may be the position for you!
As a Human Resource Analyst 2 you will perform a broad range of employee relations personnel functions utilizing independent judgment by investigating charges of discrimination harassment and retaliation filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) PA Human Relations Commission (PHRC) and the PA State Civil Service Commission (SCSC) by current and former employees. You will also have the opportunity to coordinate the DHS Performance Management process which involves reviewing midyear probationary and annual performance reviews and providing technical assistance to deputies managers and supervisors in the completion of reviews. Additional tasks involve data analysis ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations and supporting HR decisionmaking processes. Employees in this role conduct research provide recommendations and assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and programs.
