You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailA growing company is seeking a handson Product Development Manager to oversee the design and development of privatelabel products from concept to market launch. This role includes leading a team managing technical specifications and ensuring products are innovative functional costeffective and compliant with industry standards.
Responsibilities Include:
Oversee product development from design concept through production and market release.
Lead and manage a team of 3 employees including conducting weekly meetings hiring and performance management.
Create and maintain detailed structural designs and technical specification sheets.
Conduct indepth research and development on new product opportunities including trends regulations patents and compliance.
Serve as the primary contact with factories to manage production timelines prototype reviews quality control issues and timely deliveries.
Perform final review and approval of all products prior to purchasing decisions.
Provide regular feedback and actionable recommendations to senior management.
Manage all packaging details graphic designs and content associated with new product launches.
Maintain and update the privatelabel product database to reflect any design or technical changes.
Ideal Qualifications:
Proven experience in product development ideally within private label or consumer goods.
Strong technical understanding of product design spec sheets and production processes.
Experience managing teams and working crossfunctionally with sourcing design and production.
Excellent project management organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with regulatory standards patents and product compliance requirements.
Detailoriented qualityfocused and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
