JOB OBJECTIVE
- Be the principal point of contact with the client to gain approval of test specifications and to host acceptance testing activities.
- Authorizing the execution of Test Specifications including:
- Authorizing of test plans and test strategy documents
- Authorizing of test specifications working from system requirements.
- Authorizing the execution of test specifications (according to test plan and project schedule).
- Approval of test results
- Escalate issues to the Engineering Delivery Manager where necessary
- Schedule and chair Engineering reviews (TRR TQR and FQR)
- Oversee the IVVQ process to confirm that the system meets contractual operational and regulatory requirements.
- Define and implement IVVQ strategies including test plans procedures and acceptance criteria ensuring endtoend system validation.
- Lead system integration activities resolving technical challenges across hardware software and network components.
- Identify assess and mitigate risks associated with system integration verification and validation.
- Collaborate with engineering operations and customer teams to ensure smooth IVVQ execution and system deployment.
- Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and customer demonstrations to achieve formal system acceptance.
- Drive innovation in IVVQ methodologies tools and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Accurately collates work progress reports and estimates to complete for all IVVQ work packages.
- Approve implement and maintain tools relevant to the Systems IVVQ Engineering function.
- Working with project planners to provide detailed input to specific project programs.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
IVVQ Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that systems and products meet all requirements and specifications throughout the System engineering lifecycle. Here are the responsibilities associated with this role:
- Developing and implementing the IVVQ strategy and plans in alignment with project goals and requirement
- Ensuring that requirements are welldefined traceable and testable. This includes stakeholder engagement to capture and validate requirements.
- Establishing processes for verification (ensuring that products are built correctly against specifications) and validation (ensuring that products meet user needs and intended use).
- Creating comprehensive test plans that outline testing strategies methodologies resources required and schedules. This involves both automated and manual testing approaches.
- Leading and managing the IVVQ team providing guidance support and mentorship to team members engaged in inspection testing and qualification activities.
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams such as Development Project Management and Quality Assurance to synchronize IVVQ activities with overall project objectives.
- Ensuring that all processes and products comply with relevant industry standards regulatory requirements and internal quality policies.
- Define and agree the baseline of the Work Package including scope deliverables estimates schedule workload and technical KPIs.
- Provide work package estimates that balance quality compliance and cost.
- Prepar development strategy.
- Providing better WP insights to different stakeholders particularly the Project Director Program Manager & IVVQ Department head through weekly/monthly reporting and dashboards.
- Ensure the management of the solution integration verification validation & qualification activities.
- Directing and providing overall technical leadership to the team assigned to the project to deliver the IVVQ engineering solution on time cost and quality.
- Define and establish detailed work break down structure for the IVVQ work package.
- Define IVVQ strategy establishes requirements related to IVVQ activities and perform associated estimates and schedule
- Ensuring the capture and clear definition of technical interfaces dependencies assumptions and exclusions. Maintaining adherence to these boundaries through the project delivery.
- Represent System IVVQ Engineering at formal Design Reviews with particular attention to the reduction of design risks.
- Engineering IVVQ best practices processes and tools to be applied on permanent basis.
- Liaise with customer and consortium partners on technical issues.
- Reducing resource cost by applying best strategies tools and automation.
- Establish and implement change control processes participate in configuration control boards participate in functional and physical configuration audits.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
12 years of Experience on various Systems Engineering life cycle (system integration verification validation and qualification) activities with 5 years as leading and managing IVVQ activities with following focus;
- Vast experience in system design and technical leadership in various roles.
- Strong understanding of system integration and qualification standards.
- Strong ability to develop IVVQ plans schedules and resource allocation strategies.
- Handson experience in IVVQ activities in complex system environments.
- Strong background in including requirements validation functional testing and performance verification.
- Experience in Integrated is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in requirements management and traceability tools (e.g. DOORS)
- Familiarity with tools for integration testing and validation such as:
- Test Automation: Selenium Jenkins or similar.
- Defect Tracking Tools: Jira HP ALM or Bugzilla.
