Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Design Engineer to join our team in Surat. This is a fulltime position aimed at individuals with 1 to 3 years of work experience. As a part of our design team you will engage in various engineering processes contributing through your specialization in geometric dimensioning tolerancing and technical drawing.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (Mandatory skill) is essential to ensure precise engineering specifications.
- Strong skills in technical drawing (Mandatory skill) to accurately interpret and create engineering drawings.
- Solid proficiency in using Solid Edge (Mandatory skill) for efficient design and engineering projects.
- Experience in 3D modeling to create detailed and innovative product concepts for development.
- Capability in product design to contribute to the development of new and existing products.
- Knowledge in materials selection to choose appropriate materials for various projects under guidance.
- Skills in project coordination to facilitate communications and progress in engineering projects.
- Proficiency in CAD drafting to assist in creating and editing technical drawings and schematics.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and improve existing products and support new projects.
- Create and refine 3D models and technical drawings to ensure detailed design components are accurately represented.
- Utilize geometric dimensioning and tolerancing techniques to enhance precision in engineering outputs.
- Contribute to material selection processes by providing insights and recommendations to enhance product quality.
- Assist in project coordination tasks ensuring timelines and goals are met through efficient communication.
- Maintain accurate records of design specifications and process changes ensuring documentation is up to date.
- Support the engineering team in the implementation of design modifications and improvements.
- Regularly update and maintain design software knowledge applying it to enhance project outcomes.
