The MinMax Clerk on 2nd Shift will be responsible for the following:
- 2nd Shift hours are Monday to Friday 4pm to 12:30pm. Overtime as needed
- Responsible for the reloading of Inbound trucks with empty containers.
- Responsible for investigating and auditing concerns in Quality and Materials.
- Performs internal audits.
- Reviews material spills with Superintendent
- Perform a minimum of 15 counts (or more) as part of the cycle count process.
- Counts on all material that a min card is pulled on.
- Complete Safety Stock Sheets and email to the appropriate parties at the customer.
- Monitor overflow and the flow of inward material and redistribution to the appropriate work areas.
- Investigate the potential of spec. errors in shortages and report to the customer.
- Five phase all losses that are over 1 standard pack of material.
- Update Min/Max sheets every shift and email to the MFU upon completion.
- Attend regularly scheduled Material Meetings.
- Act in accordance with the direction of the superintendent on an as needed basis.
- Data entry of inventory and cycle count information.
- Record and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate department records to ensure documentation of activities is available.
- Involved in multidisciplinary Five Phase Problem Solving Teams that directly drives companys Continuous Improvement Process and Policies
- Responsible for onthejob training of all employees.
- Responsible for initiating continuous improvement projects.
- Will assist and contribute to model year changes and build out numbers.
Required Skills:
- Ability to plan organize and prioritize work according to urgency.
- Must have excellent problemsolving skills.
- Inventory experience is preferred.
- Ability to count accurately.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to keep proper documentation and records.
- Must be able to promote and maintain a safe working environment.
- Must be able to follow company policies procedures and corresponding work instructions.
- Ability to operate MHE may be required in some facilities.
- Must be willing and able to learn material technician functions throughout the facility to ensure a flexible cross trained team.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to work full time with extra hours & weekends as required.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent.
