About the team
At Equativ were on a mission to develop advertising technologies that empower our customers to reach their digital business goals. This means that we rely on massively scalable widely distributed highly available and efficient software systems; the platform deals with over 3 million requests per second (250 billion/day) managed by 3000 servers with less than 250ms response time.
Our innovation team based in Paris Nantes Bordeaux Limoges Krakow and Berlin is composed of 150 straightforward and energetic engineers working in an Agile environment and ready to tackle the most complex technical challenges.
Your mission
You will join our fast growing R&D within the inhouse DSP feature team to improve our real time bidding engine which is a central piece of our business. With your team youll work on both features and technical developments having direct impacts on the revenues of the company: ad quality tools integrations programmatic stream optimization engine performance improvements...
You wont have any occasion to get bored as this central part of the Ad Tech ecosystem fastly evolves and continuously brings new technical challenges to tackle.
What youll do
- Work in an agile international and multiexpertise team
- Think and codesign new functionalities with Product team on multiple feature set
- Design & develop clean coded elegant and robust solutions: high performance strong resilience and scalability are our standards
- Create new (or improve existing) backend services using hybridcloud hosting environments (Docker Kubernetes GCP)
- Implement monitoring and testing of your developments review and test code of your team mates
- Build deploy monitor and finetune your applications using Gitlab Datadog Grafana Prometheus etc
- Participate in the creation of new backend standards: architecture conventions packages etc
About You
- 3 years of software development experience with Go
- Event Driven Programming experience such as : Kafka Pub/Sub RabbitMQ etc.
- Appetite for complex technical challenges and clockwork engineering: having your application performing at 90% of its potential is not satisfying you aim at the four nines
- Passion for delivering high quality and efficiently tested code: state of the Software Craftsmanship art
- Scientific methodology to solve problems: you like to benchmark test analyze and draw conclusions based on real data
- Interest in new technologies (Docker Kubernetes GCP Kafka Aerospike) and scalable technical stacks
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Previous experience in highload platforms
- Entrepreneurial spirit and knowhow to identify opportunities of improvement
- Personal projects with code sharing were curious about your art!
