Membership Programs Coordinator
The Membership Programs Coordinator is responsible for supporting CGLCCs membership programs including but not limited to the Newcomer Program and the National Associate Member Program. The role requires consistent and regular member and partner outreach program development and delivery support and communications. The roles purpose is to:
- Support the development and delivery of strong national bilingual membership programs for Canadas 2SLGBTQI entrepreneurs;
- Support the delivery and growth of CGLCCs membership programs and
- Create greater awareness of and engagement in the programs by interested parties.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Member Development & Engagement
The Coordinator supports a range of activities to develop national bilingual membership programs acquire and build a strong national network of participants and grow the CGLCC brand presence. Specific duties include but not limited to:
- Support in developing and implementing programming to support the engagement of participants that are enrolled in the programs
- Support in the promotion of the programs to create more awareness and drive participation
- Create program materials with careful attention to detail
- Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of the programs to ensure effectiveness and recommend adjustments as needed;
- Offer ongoing support and resources for participants to enhance their experience;
- Support in the development and facilitation of workshops or webinars on relevant topics;
- Attend events and conferences to engage members and partners
- Utilize CGLCC CRM tools to track and report all engagement activities
- Conduct program checkins to ensure participants feel supported
- Coordinate participant appreciation and evaluation activities including sharing pre and postsurveys as needed
Managing Relationships
The Coordinator builds and manages working relationships with CGLCCs internal and external partners ensuring engagement and participation in CGLCC programs. As the first point of contact for program participants the coordinator will support ongoing implementation of the membership programs including coordinating workshops drafting speaker agreements and facilitating networking sessions.
- Establish strong relationships and communications with program participants to ensure success of the program
- Build and maintain open and effective communication with program sponsors and community organizations
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners in the execution of activities and initiatives
Problem Solving & Ownership
The Coordinator analyses and solves problems and addresses daytoday issues to ensure smooth and efficient operations help establish a supportive and empowering work environment and contribute to the accomplishment of CGLCC program objectives.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for the improvement of the program activities and processes to attain high engagement and retention
- Support problemsolving of complex scenarios consulting with other CGLCC team members if needed
- Resolve issues following CGLCCs standards practices and procedures
- Coordinate internal external and sometimes geographically dispersed resources; and
- Support the Identification of alternative solutions and select the best solution to the daytoday issues and problems ensuring positive impact on the process and/or relationships with internal and external partners
DESIRED COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
Experience:
- Experience in providing program support; project coordination experience is an asset
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Customer service and engagement experience
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize and to work with a variety of internal and external partners
- Experience with professional development programming is an asset
- Previous experience working in a notforprofit environment is preferred
- Experience working with the 2SLGBTQI community is an asset
- Experience working with the Newcomer community is an asset
- Proficient technology skills using program management software Microsoft Office Suite and CGLCC administration tools (Microsoft 365 Sharepoint Dynamics CRM)
- Highly motivated selfdirected individual

Terms
This is a fulltime hybrid position at CGLCCs Toronto Montreal or Vancouver office or remote elsewhere in Canada. This position reports to the Manager Membership & Partnerships. This is a term contract role concluding March 2026.
Compensation
Salary will be based on skills and experience within the annual salary range of $. Additional benefits round out the compensation package including group benefit plan coverage annual vacation and a generous public holiday schedule including paid time off between Christmas Day and New Years Day.
