The GDC Office tribe contributes to the divisions strategy in supporting the other delivery Tribes within the GDC division: As part of the GDC Office Tribe we deliver whatbringsvalueforthe customer the delivery tribes and for Euroclear.

What can you expect as a cost manager within GDC Office tribe
As a cost manager at GDC Office you are an experienced professional responsible for leading and overseeing the financials of 2 GDC tribes
For this role you must stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure Euroclear remains competitive and innovative.
You will be performing varied activities requiring a wide range of different and multidisciplinary expertise
- Manage consistent financial planning forecasting analysis and reporting activities to support GDC management in business decision making.
- Initiate coordinate and track financial processes improvements and ensures the respect for financial standards and best practices.
- Take over the E2E management of 2 GDC tribes: P&L analysis stakeholder management Reporting .
- Automate as much as possible the current reporting and processes using powerBI and/or Excel
- Be responsible for the daily updates in Apptio our cost management tool at Euroclear
- Build reporting & analysis for Tribe Leads
- Contribute to increase the financial maturity within GDC
- Assists in the preparation of the yearly budget exercises and of the quarterly forecast reviews
- Develop financial forecast models to assist in future business planning
- Carry out Accounting activities (PR/PO followup)
- Contribute to certain transversal streams managed by GDC office
About You
Technical skills
- You have a Master degree in Economics or a Bachelors Degree
- You have proven experience (510 years) in the Cost management domain in IT
- You like performing varied assignments requiring a wide range of different and multidisciplinary expertise (Process management Project support Financials )
- You will support your Squad lead in strategic initiatives
- You will take ownership of the operational activities and will work in close collaboration with the squad members (acting as backup when required)
- You will contribute to increase the process & control maturity within GDC
- You have a good level of English (speaking writing and understanding).
- You have a strong affinity with figures; an accounting or financial background/expertise is considered as an asset.
- Very good and proven analytical skills and also synthetic skills i.e. able to extract key messages from a detailed analytical exercise
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to see further than only the short term impacts/consequences
- Organisational skills i.e. you are able to prioritize and work within strict deadlines; you can combine day to day activities with long(er) term assignments or deliverables; you can work on various initiatives in parallel
- Good presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Relationship management skills/client facing skills: the ability to build and maintain long term relationships with various stakeholders within GDC the other IT divisions Finance HR Risk Compliance and Procurement. This also means you are able to adapt your style to different audiences and levels of seniority
- Good level of English (speaking writing and understanding).
