Job Description
Responsibilities & Qualifications
This contract supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its component agency the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in advancing its mission to protect the nation and respond to emergencies effectively. Specifically it focuses on enhancing and sustaining FEMAs Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Operations Portfolio.
The mission centers around the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of IT systems and services that are critical to FEMAs ability to deliver emergency management capabilities. This includes ensuring continuous system availability security modernization and operational efficiency to support FEMAs missioncritical programs and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ten Years (10) of experience in design and support cloud architecture for multitier or hybrid applications and virtualized infrastructure.
- Lead enterprise cloud architecture initiatives and strategic IT transformation.
- Provide business planning and strategy support with a focus on aligning technology to business capabilities and maturity.
- Understand FEMAs services and core missions aligning them with bestinclass technologies.
- Define a northstar target state and guide prioritization and sequencing of transformation efforts.
- Propose and develop a strategic roadmap that supports longterm IT and mission goal
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience:
- Background in information technology with a focus on cloud architecture including multitier or hybrid environments and enterpriselevel designs.
- Certifications (must include):
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- ITIL Certification
- Cloud FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP)
- Education:
- Masters degree (M.S.) in Computer Science Information Technology Information Security or a closely related field.
- Clearance:
- Must obtain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting work. US Citizenship
