Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Cygnus Technologies a Maravai LifeSciences company is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Manufacturing Operations team as a Manufacturing Operations Intern. We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Operations Intern to support our continuous improvement efforts within Cygnus Technologies manufacturing environment. This role offers handson experience in optimizing material flow enhancing workplace organization through 5S and contributing to key process improvement initiatives. In this role you will help Identify gaps make recommendations and implement improvements .
How you will make an impact:
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Support 5S initiatives to improve workplace organization and safety
- Analyze and optimize material flow throughout the production floor
- Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to support consistent operations
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support continuous improvement projects
- Collect and analyze data to support improvement recommendations
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Operations Management or a related field
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detailoriented with a proactive approach
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
