Process and Sr. Quality Engineer (QP0045)

General Summary of Position:
The Process and Sr. Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining process improvements and quality control systems within our manufacturing operations. This position plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency maintaining compliance with applicable quality standards and supporting the companys commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Process Engineering:
Develop document and optimize manufacturing processes for anticorrosions coating production
Analyze and resolve process inefficiencies; perform process simulations and root cause analyses for production issues
Identify and implement costeffective process improvements to enhance throughput reduce waste and improve overall efficiency
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support the implementation and validation of new equipment and process changes

Quality Engineering:
Develop and maintain quality control procedures ensuring alignment with industry standards customer specifications and internal requirements
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address quality nonconformities
Coordinate and conduct internal audits inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
Drive continuous improvement projects focused on increasing product quality process consistency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in chemical engineering Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering and quality assurance within a manufacturing environment; experience in the paint or chemical industry strongly preferred
Must be able to work with hazardous chemicals
Able to lift 50 pounds climb stairs kneel stoop sit and walk extensively
Six Sigma certification or equivalent; Preferred
Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles; Preferred
Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality management software; Preferred
Proficiency in quality management systems statistical analysis and process documentation
Strong analytical problemsolving and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Can work independently and collaboratively as a team member to meet goals
Meets or exceeds our internal and external customers expectations consistently
Ability to be positive during difficult or challenging situations
