About the job
We are looking for a Technical Writer (Contract for 6 months) to expand user assistance offerings for our products. As part of our Product Teams Education Group you will work with our USbased Senior Content Developer to create a variety of information products: release notes online help user guides administration guides datasheets job aids video tutorials training materials and more.

What will you do
- Plan write and edit user documentation including release notes online help user guides administration guides datasheets job aids etc.
- Create graphics for information products.
- Interview subject matter experts.
- Adhere to the companys writing styles standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with various teams: Development Design QA Training Business Analysis Support and Marketing.
- Meet daily weekly and monthly deadlines for content creation in accordance with application development and bug fixes.
- Develop training materials.
- Script and produce video and multimedia content.
- Enhance knowledge sharing within the company.
We are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in technical communication instructional design or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in technical writing instructional design or a related field.
Requirements skills job knowledge and abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn complex topics.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to various audiences.
- Expertise in software documentation technical writing and editing.
- Proficiency with MadCap Flare.
- Proficiency with HTML and CSS.
- Expertise in topicbased authoring and singlesource content development.
- Experience in instructional design.
- Experience with learning management systems.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management.
- Experience with collaborative platforms such as Confluence and SharePoint.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook.
- Proficiency with screen capture tools such as Snagit.
- Experience with screen recording and video editing tools such as Camtasia.
- Experience with graphics software such as Visio Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with issue/bugtracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
Preferred (but not required) skills job knowledge and abilities:
- Experience with content management systems.
- Experience with Docebo administration and management.
- Experience with source control tools.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design.
- Experience with help authoring tools such as Authorit Adobe RoboHelp HelpNDoc etc.
- Experience with desktop publishing tools such as Adobe InDesign.
- Experience with elearning tools such as Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline.
- Experience with labor management time & attendance and/or HRIS systems.
- Experience with localization management.
- Experience with Git Bash.
