Assistant Construction Superintendent
Duluth MN Direct Hire $80k$110k
Konik is partnered with a growing commercial construction company who is adding an Assistant Construction Superintendent to their team.
Assistant Construction Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Support onsite construction operations while promoting an incident and injury free (IIF) culture through compliance and leadership.
- Maintain updated construction drawings; assist in scheduling tools equipment and materials and ensure team members are properly trained.
- Coordinate with project teams during startup and closeout phases; contribute to Punchlist processes and Zero Punchlist goals.
- Monitor and enforce safety and quality standards conduct safety meetings and review trade contractor compliance.
- Assist with cost control schedule updates and constructability reviews during preconstruction and throughout the project.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with trade partners owners and design teams.
- Support marketing procurement and business development efforts by participating in presentations and industry networking.
Assistant Construction SuperintendentQualifications:
- Postsecondary or bachelors degree in constructionrelated field with 2 years of experience; or high school diploma with 7 years of directly related experience.
- Familiar with Procore MS Project P6 Excel AutoCAD Revit and other construction management tools.
- Knowledgeable in reading construction documents value engineering and life cycle costing.
- Proven track record in supporting safety compliance; OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying climate conditions; capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
