Job Description
The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our nextAutomotiveCollision Shop Estimatorlocated at Wayzata Collision Center theAutomotive Collision Shop Estimator Traineeisresponsible for estimating and calculating the cost to repair a vehicle to replace vehicle parts or the entire vehicle.

Job Responsibilities:
- Write Estimates & Supplements: Review vehicle damage and write quality estimates using CCC One estimating system. Upon teardown work with triage team and senior technician to write a supplement based on discoveries. Create a repair plan for the technician and pull anyTIS/repair documents needed for repair. (Any weld on panels MUST have TIS documentation). All supplements are to be submitted within 24 hours. Work with insurance companies to manage claim and negotiate pricing if needed.
- Customer Service: Update all guests on a regular basis. All guests need to know of any changes with their repair throughout the process.
- Parts Ordering: Work with Parts Manager to order/locate all parts needed for repair.
- Quality Check: Review all finalized work to ensure all work performed meets or exceeds the standards of The Wayzata Auto Center Collision Repair.
- File Reconciliation: Review your file to make sure all documents are uptodate all signatures are captured and proper documentation is in file.
- Assist with completing documents associated with the needed repair and insurance details.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to accurately estimate vehicle damagepreferred
- Ability to use our automated system to order partspreferred
- Properly follow insurance company Direct Repair guidelinesrequired
- Experience with CCC and CDK estimating platformspreferred
- Experience in the estimating/body shop/automotive fieldpreferred
- Valid Drivers Licenserequired
