Job Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics and complex mechanical electrical and drivability repairs.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety issues.
• Complete repairs and services per manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors to clearly explain diagnoses recommend necessary repairs and accurately estimate completion times.
• Document all work performed using the dealerships repair order system.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Stay current with the latest automotive technologies and participate in training and certification programs.
• Utilize manufacturer-provided diagnostic tools and equipment with proficiency.
• Assist in mentoring and supporting less experienced technicians as needed.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm proper operation and quality repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited automotive technology program is preferred
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or independent shop setting
• ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training strongly preferred
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record required
• Proven experience with diagnostics repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle systems
• Familiarity with dealership service software and diagnostic tools is a plus.
• European automotive experience is a plus

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM
• Saturday required by rotation
