Insurance Defense Attorney
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a premier AVrated fullservice law firm. The firm has been fortunate to represent numerous clients who are members of the Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 lists of multinational corporations. We are seeking a dedicated midlevel associate with 3 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation. This position is ideal for a resultsdriven attorney who excels in the strategic evaluation of complex cases and is adept at managing cases through trial. The selected candidate will play a key role in litigating highstakes cases and collaborating with senior attorneys to achieve favorable outcomes.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Independently handle a caseload of insurance defense matters including personal injury premises liability and product liability.
- Draft and argue dispositive motions including summary judgments and motions to dismiss.
- Conduct and defend depositions including expert witnesses.
- Attend mediations arbitrations and court hearings.
- Collaborate with senior partners to develop comprehensive case strategies.
- Maintain effective communication with clients regarding case updates and litigation strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- 3 5 years of experience in Civil litigation with the majority of that experience in insurance defense.
- Proven ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Base Compensation $130000 $165000
- Plus additional performance compensation
