1 position 13weeks $95.00/hour rate Days and evening shifts 40 hour per week 8 hour shifts plus call once per week and every 5th weekend. Job Description Summary We are looking for two types of candidates. Will consider either: Ortho/Neuro scrub: need to know ortho trauma(total experience not needed) neuro trauma ENT and eyes Or General scrub: need to know vascular robotics urology OB/GYN plastics and general Job Description Organizes and prepares case setup prior to start of case. Identifies and communicates unusual techniques and instruments required for surgery. Cleans assembles operates and properly cares for instruments supplies and equipment used in team specialties. Demonstrates an understanding of surgical procedure classification system and handles operating room specimens according to standard operating procedures. Provides patient care according to diagnosis/procedure utilizing the procedure cards and following established hospital policies and procedures. Documents procedure changes on procedure cards following each case according to standard operating procedures. Identifies and communicates unusual techniques and instruments required for surgery. Participates in measuring and monitoring Quality Indicators and outcomes. Performs pain assessment and takes appropriate action according to standard operating procedure. Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization. Certification: Unlicensed Assistive Person Technician (UAP/T) North Dakota Board of Nursing Prior to Start Date HR Primary Sources Licensed Practical Nurse North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement Prior to Start Date HR Primary Sources Certified Surgical Technician (CST) National Board of Surgical TechSurgical Assist (NBSTSA) Preferred HR Primary Sources Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) Within 90 days of Start Date Learning Management System Notes: May be licensed as a UAP/T or LPN. Temporary UAP/T license accepted prior to start. Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or graduate of a military training program.
