Position Overview: The Faculty of Technology Digital Innovation & Cybersecurity will be at the forefront of preparing students to navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape. This role focuses on teaching the intersection of emerging technologies and business strategy covering key areas such as AI IoT Cloud Computing Cybersecurity and IT Management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of academic rigor and realworld expertise in IT strategy cybersecurity governance cloud solutions and blockchain applications helping students develop the skills necessary to lead digital transformation initiatives in global businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver highimpact courses including Management Information Systems Emerging Technologies in Business Technology Management in MultiLocation Business Information Security & Cyber Laws and Systems Analysis and Design.
- Develop cuttingedge curriculum that reflects the latest trends and innovations in AI IoT Cloud Computing Cybersecurity and other emerging technologies.
- Equip students with the technical and strategic skills to manage technology in complex multilocation and global business environments.
- Introduce students to cybersecurity best practices risk management data privacy and the legal frameworks governing information security.
- Foster an engaging classroom environment that encourages innovation critical thinking and practical problemsolving.
- Supervise and mentor students in research projects technology implementations and case studies focused on digital innovation.
- Collaborate with industry leaders IT professionals and tech startups to provide students with realworld exposure through internships guest lectures and workshops.
- Lead handson workshops on cloud computing platforms cybersecurity tools and blockchain technologies to provide practical experience.
- Participate in faculty committees curriculum development initiatives and accreditation processes to advance the programs growth.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: A Ph.D. with industrial experience is preferred or Master s degree in Information Technology Computer Science Cybersecurity or a related field (doctorate preferred).
- Experience:810 years of relevant experience for doctoral candidates and 10 years of experience for Masters candidates in IT strategy cybersecurity governance cloud solutions or blockchain applications. Proven teaching experience in technology management cybersecurity or emerging tech at the university level. Proficiency in relevant technologies tools and platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Python Blockchain frameworks Cybersecurity tools. Excellent communication interpersonal and mentorship skills. Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
