Company Overview
A listed construction and property development group in Malaysia involved in civil engineering building works and infrastructure projects locally and abroad. The company also has business interests in property investment quarrying and power supply.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and annual budgets.
- Handle payments and collections: prepare cheques bank portal uploads invoices official receipts payment vouchers and journal entries.
- Monitor daily bank transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and manage relevant agreement documentation.
- Liaise effectively with external stakeholders such as auditors tax agents company secretaries and financial institutions.
- Undertake any other adhoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirement
- Possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or partial professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA CIMA CPA).
- 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting or auditing roles.
- Prior experience in construction or property development is an added advantage.
