Job Description
- Lead the design development and validation of automotive motor mounts and subframes.
- Oversee product life cycles from concept through production launch.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to define requirements and ensure ontime delivery.
- Ensure compliance with global automotive regulations and standards (e.g. FMVSS ECE SAE).
- Coordinate with other engineering teams to integrate solutions into vehicle platforms.
- Manage budgets timelines resources and performance metrics.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies.
- Mentor and lead a team of engineers and designers.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for all issues related to the product.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews and customer meetings.
- Prepare standards design guidelines and lessons learned documents
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master s preferred).
- 10 years of experience in chassis systems especially motor mount and subframe design and development.
- Strong knowledge of wheel and tyre technologies regulations and manufacturing processes.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Experience working with CAD simulation tools and other common office and engineering software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and crossfunctional teams.
- Experience working with global automotive OEMs and Tier1 suppliers.
- Knowledge of other chassis systems and components particularly bushes and suspension systems.
