Job Summary
Our client is a mega dealer distributor and reseller of automotive parts in Kenya with branches
in country wide. They seek to hire a Human Resource Assistant who will assist to oversee HR
relatedated activities within the organization Support the development and implementation of
HR initiatives and formulation of HR plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment and selection of vacant positions.
- Ensure a seamless on boarding process for new joiners.
- Facilitate timely staff confirmations.
- Assist in the management of employee grievances disputes and disciplinary casesensuring equitable and fair treatment.(Organizing and documenting the disciplinary hearing process)
- Facilitate timely benefits administration and compliance.
- Assist in the documentation required for input for release of payroll.
- Assist with Performance Appraisal staff mapping.
- Implementing human resource policies strategies and plans
- Coordinate manpower planning and placement.
- Implement effective staff communication channels internally and reporting
- Ensure comprehensive HRrelated induction process for new employees including: Policy training help staff to settle in to work in coordination with other department managers
- Managing the employee exit process for all entities
- Management of staff contracting process across entities timely issuance accurate detail and compliance with Labor laws as well as signoff by all parties.
- Management and regular updating of employee data across entities and maintenance of employees files
- Ensuring accurate and proper recordkeeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Key Qualifications
Bachelors degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management
At least 1 years relevant experience in distribution or manufacturing industry
Comprehension of Kenya Labor Laws policies and procedures.
Excellent understanding of HR evaluation metrics and methods.
Good knowledge of recruitment practices and techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional analytic and problemsolving abilities.
Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Comprehension of Kenya Labour Laws, policies, and procedures. Excellent understanding of HR evaluation metrics and methods. Good knowledge of recruitment practices and techniques.
Education
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management
