Job Description
In this role you will assist in ensuring the facilitys compliance with federal state and local environmental regulations and ThermaTru EHS standards. The successful candidate will be expected to adhere to established operational procedures and standard work to assist facility managers to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
YOUR ROLE:
- Facility Assessments: We anticipate this job will be focused on creating LOTO procedures and ergonomic assessments for roughly 80% of the time.
- Training Education & Awareness: Intern candidate will assist in task related to EHS training to help ensure environmental compliance emergency response and legal liability issues. Candidate may also assist in developing and maintaining compliance training database.
- Safety Cultural Development: Intern Candidate will support safety activities aimed at improving plantwide cultural initiatives.
- Safety Program Involvement: Intern Candidate must support safety initiatives including driving participation supplying data and other tasks as assigned. Candidate will participate in additional projects as time permits.
Qualifications :
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active student enrolled in EHSrelated field preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong time management skills
- Proficiency in database spreadsheet word processing and presentation software
Additional Information :
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $18 $20 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location.
