Director, Commercial (Dmart)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Dmart Commercial Director for foodora Yemeksepeti and foodpanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy of our Dark stores in APAC EU and Turkey.

In this role you will:

• Develop and implement the commercial strategy for our 300 Dark stores (Dmarts) aligned with the companys overall business objectives

• Lead the establishment and growth of the commercial team including hiring training and mentoring sales and business development professionals

• Lead the teams responsible for building the assortment pricing promotions campaigns private label and commercial operations.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product development and operations to ensure a seamless and efficient endtoend commercial process

• Analyze the retail landscape market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to make datadriven decisions and continually optimize our offerings

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders suppliers distributors and other relevant industry players

• Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with strategic partners ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company

• Set and monitor performance metrics for the commercial team providing regular reports and insights to senior management

• Drive innovation and creative thinking to improve our market position and achieve a competitive advantage in the European retail industry

• Foster a collaborative and resultsoriented culture within the European commercial team promoting professional development and employee engagement

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies throughout the commercial operations

Qualifications :

• 8 years of experience in commercial roles within the retail industry ECommerce / QCommerce experience is a big plus

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus

• Demonstrated success in building and leading highperforming teams with a track record of fostering a dynamic and motivated work environment

• Strong understanding of the retail landscape market dynamics and consumer behavior

• Excellent negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills with a history of successful partnerships and collaborations

• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities

• Previous experience in recruiting and developing commercial teams nurturing a customercentric approach to achieve exceptional results

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage both internal and external stakeholders effectively

• Resultsdriven and customerfocused with a passion for delivering outstanding service and products
