Were working exclusively with a respected regional law firm to recruit an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor to join their established and growing team. With offices across Yorkshire and a progressive tech-enabled approach to legal service delivery this is an exciting opportunity to work on high-quality property matters in a modern and flexible working environment.

Salary & Benefits
depending on experience
Hybrid working (minimum 3 days in office per week)
35-hour working week
Flexitime with the ability to earn up to 4 additional leave days per year

The Role
Youll manage a broad and stimulating caseload of commercial property work including:
Freehold/leasehold acquisitions and disposals (shops offices industrial units land)
Negotiating commercial leases and associated documentation
Landlord and tenant matters
Corporate support and development-related transactions
Optional experience in property finance overage provisions and option agreements is welcome
Exposure to residential development sites and financing would be advantageous
Youll work alongside a close-knit and supportive commercial property team with access to additional expertise across corporate and commercial disciplines.
About You
Were keen to hear from candidates who:
Are qualified solicitors with 36 years PQE in commercial property (PQE band is flexible)
Can run files independently but enjoy being part of a collaborative team
Have strong client communication and negotiation skills
Are confident working in a largely paperless tech-forward environment
Are proactive in networking and business development activity
Location
Youll need to be able to work from the firms Harrogate and Leeds offices regularly. The firm also maintains a presence in York. Hybrid working is embedded into the culture but in-person visibility is expected to help build client and team relationships.
