About the area
Core Business Retail Concept is dedicated to protecting expanding and developing the IKEA Concept and the IKEA Brand in both existing and new markets. This includes sharing IKEA knowledge and learning across the franchise system. Retail Concept consists of the following areas: Brand & Marketing Expansion Learning Retail Experience and Retail Concept Operations.
About the assignment
We offer unique IKEA specialist competence in developing improving designing establishing and operating IKEA Customer Meeting Points based on a market approach across all IKEA markets. Customer Meeting Points include IKEA Stores Small Stores Pickup & Points Plan Shops and Plan & Order coach mentor support and challenge IKEA retailers in their expansion plans and collaborate with our IKEA franchisees in over 50 countries worldwide. We cocreate and innovate IKEA retail architecture transforming market and business needs into outstanding customer experiences.

About the role
We are looking for a data analyst intern for a 12month period at our office in Malm starting September 2025. During your internship you will be a member of our Process Service and Tools team.
Your tasks will include:
Working with our CMP dimensioning team to collate analyze and share physical CMP design and As Built data. (CMP dimensioning is our team and digital tool which supports the sizing and allocation of spaces within an IKEA CMP based on market and business needs)
Work with and support in the capacity planning and forecasting for incoming projects and internal resources.
Provide business support to projects which develop our service offer for CMP design to our franchisees
About you
We believe that you are newly graduated from university studies within for example business data analysis statistics or other relevant degrees and are eager to start your first job in the field.
You are a driven person with a genuine interest in exploring understanding and sharing business data and analysis in a clear way and are able to clearly demonstrate this by giving examples. You have strong interpersonal skills and find it easy to build relationships and earn trust embodying IKEA values. You take responsibility for actions and results making things happen. You should have:
At least 3 years of study within relevant degrees related to the role
An interest in retail design across various scale projects.
Good skills in understanding and communicating data and its usability and impact on end users.
Strong social skills and the ability to work independently.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Experience working with excel based systems project and resource management tools
You would benefit most from this internship if you are a proactive person as this role will allow you to take on more responsibilities as you demonstrate your capability.
Additional Information :
