Job Description
**$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)**
Position: Community Living Specialist 1 Part Time
Locations: East Hartford and Manchester CT
Rate of Pay: $23.84 per hour
Schedules:
- Manchester: Saturday 8:00am6:00pm
- East Hartford: TuesdayFriday starting at 11:00am Flexible schedule working 13 hours per week
Summary:
- The Community Living Specialist 1 assists individuals with disabilities in daily living skills to achieve greater independence and selffulfillment. The Community Living Specialist 1 implements the organizations mission and values by supporting individuals to make positive changes in their lives. Individuals with direct care residential care day program and human services experience strongly encouraged to apply!
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience with working with adults with disabilities living on their own in the community required.
- Knowledge of CRS regulations and procedures preferred
- Ability to use technology.
- Ability to work with a team to provide the best support for the members in the home.
- High School/GED
- Must have a valid drivers license good driving record and a reliable vehicle.
- Must be DDS Med Cert
- Must be willing to transport individuals in your own vehicle.
