Demi Chef de Partie Pastry
Support in producing highquality pastries and desserts supporting the Pastry Chef in daily operations and mentoring junior team members.
- Prepare bake and present a wide range of pastry items ensuring quality and consistency.
- Assist in managing daily kitchen operations within the pastry section.
- Oversee mise en place and delegate tasks to Commis and trainees.
- Maintain proper food storage rotation and hygiene standards (HACCP compliance).
- Work closely with the Chef de Partie and Pastry Chef in menu planning and development.
- Ensure all recipes and portion standards are followed accurately.
- Support in training and motivating junior team members.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 23 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a luxury hotel or finedining setting.
- Formal training or diploma in Pastry Arts or Culinary Management.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques dessert plating and pastry production.
- Ability to manage time and priorities in a highvolume kitchen.
- Creative detailoriented and passionate about delivering excellence.
- Positive attitude team spirit and willingness to mentor junior team members.
