Job Description
Install configure and manage IBM DataPower Gateway appliances.
Implement security policies and configure SSL/TLS connections.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
Administer monitor and manage the API gateway infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
Work with development teams to design and implement API strategies.
Develop and enforce API policies and procedures.
Manage API security measures including authentication authorization and threat protection.
Coordinate with IT and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve APIrelated issues.
Conduct regular reviews of the API gateway performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and technologies in API management and integration.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
Implement and maintain web services on DataPower such as REST SOAP.
Document system configurations updates and propose improvements.
Conduct system performance tuning and capacity planning.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree OR 5 years of
relevant work experience
Preferred Qualification
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years
of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)
