We are seeking a highly competent and proactive APAC Finance Controller to lead financial control and compliance efforts across the AsiaPacific region. This role is based in Singapore and requires a dynamic finance professional who thrives in a fastpaced environment. The successful candidate will manage regional accounting operations oversee outsourced finance partners and collaborate closely with senior leadership to support strategic decisionmaking.
With a strong foundation in multinational environments and deep knowledge of financial regulations across the region particularly within the logistics and supply chain industries the APAC Finance Controller will play a critical role in upholding financial integrity and driving operational efficiency.
The Challenges
- Lead all controllership activities for the APAC region ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with international (e.g. IFRS) and local standards.
- Oversee the preparation consolidation and review of financial statements statutory reporting and external audits across multiple jurisdictions.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights performance analysis and strategic guidance to support business objectives.
- Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure adherence to risk management and operational efficiency standards.
- Drive the standardization and improvement of regional finance processes workflows and systems.
- Act as the principal liaison for external auditors tax advisors and regulatory authorities across the region.
- Manage daytoday finance operations with a handson approach demonstrating strong ownership and proactive problemsolving capabilities.
What It Takes
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience with a proven record of success in multinational corporations.
- Industry experience in logistics supply chain or related sectors is strongly desirable.
- Indepth understanding of regional accounting standards tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong independent working style with meticulous attention to detail and accountability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels.
- Proficiency in financial systems ERP platforms and advanced Excel capabilities.
