We are currently seeking a qualified Document Controller to join our Energy team based out of Calgary AB. As a Document Controller you will support the Document Management Lead with various project activities and tasks including document processing number and tag reservations & tracking revision management and data reconciliations ultimately delivering clean project information in a partnership with the client.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing the flow quality and integrity of project documentation using an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) ensuring compliance with project standards and procedures.
- Performing quality checks on engineering and supplier documents ensuring accurate metadata attribution and version control.
- Monitoring and auditing document attributes and metadata for accuracy resolving discrepancies with responsible parties to maintain project timelines.
- Coordinating document number reservations and ensuring consistency across technical and non-technical scopes.
- Providing day-to-day support to internal and external stakeholders on EDMS usage and document control best practices.
- Enthusiastic in learning tools used on the project including internal EDMS external EDMS (when applicable) SharePoint etc. with the goal of continuously streamlining work done in these tools.
- Actively seeks to enhance knowledge of the engineering documentation cycle and understand the interfaces of an EPC project.
- Other duties as determined.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Document Control within an EPC or Client setting or similar administrative role with high attention to detail and direct customer interface.
- Previous exposure working with engineering documents performing document management or contributing in another complex database environment.
- Skilled in MS Outlook MS Office (including Word Excel SharePoint) Bluebeam/PDF software and demonstrated aptitude for quick learning of other programs.
- Proven interpersonal skills to build relationships with immediate and remote team members as well as client and other customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills utilizing a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and organize all duties for successful completion
