ACCOUNTABILITIES
The job holder is accountable for the following activities during Ruya CPP JKT/BRG/FLR Project execution:
- To follow to monitor and to supervise Structural activities carried out by CPP Contractor and Subcontractor / Vendors at the main Jacket Construction worksite and at SUBCTRs facilities during the execution phases to ensure that his disciplines contractual and technical requirements are duly applied by Contractor and/or Subcontractors.
- To ascertain that the CPP Jacket Bridges and Flare facilities are built as per the project requirements the job holder verify and approve Contractors and/or Subcontractors/Vendors drawings fabrication procedures and methodologies and ensure that Contractor and/or Subcontractors/Vendors have adequate equipment resources means and manpower to perform the job with the required quality level and to complete it in due time.
- Reports on a daytoday basis directly to the Company site representative.
- To lead several Yard Supervisors and as such is acting as a team leader informing and motivating them adequately and giving them clear priorities/directions for the performance of their duties. He also provides them support and assistance in their organization job scheduling and coordination with other disciplines to ensure quality and timely completion of their work.
- To provide assistance to the JacketBridgesFlare Construction team with all matters related to his discipline and to liaise with CPY Site Lifting Supervisor during lift of structural elements
- The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating individually an exemplary behavior with regard to HSSE rules & requirements.
- To implement the Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes.
- The Job holder may also have to be involved in his discipline activities during CPP JKT/FLR/BRG hookup installation and offshore commissioning phases.
- The CPP JKT/BRG/FLR Structure Superintendent has a Hierarchical/Functional Link to the CPP JKT/BRG/FLR CSR . He/she has a Functional Link to CPP Structural Engineer for all technical matters.
ACTIVITIES
- To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other Company HSE procedures in all activities.
- To carry out work in compliance with Company values and policies relevant laws and regulations agreed Company priorities and objectives Company standards and procedures and good industry practices.
- To treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality.
- Participate to KOM with Contractor/Subcontractor wrt Discipline matters.
- Review the relevant Contractors and suppliers ITPs and procedures (in coordination with Structural/Piping/ QAQC disciplines and NDT/Welding/Painting/Coating activities);
- Monitor and control the implementation on site of the approved drawings and plans Surveillance plans Inspection and test plans.
- Monitor and control CTRs daily / weekly progress report for structural prefabrication and erection.
- Ensure CTRs Manpower tools equipment and resources are adequate to achieve planned milestones.
- Liaise with CPY QC team to ensure that the works are closely inspected by the contractors QC inspection team (e.g. RT UT MPI PMI Dimensional Control.).
- Challenge Contractor and Subsuppliers on QA/QC performance and Inspection activities and to perform routine and random inspections on daily basis in this regard.
- Monitor the work deficiencies (structural welding repair rate out of tolerances DC in particular) and ensure the implementation of the necessary corrective actions.
- Follow up on the implementation of decided action plans or other mitigation plan issued.
- Stop & report immediately to Head of Construction any anomaly or nonconformity.
- Attend and participate in daily meetings; Attend when requested the various construction meetings and provide support in its various reviews.
- Participate to construction HSE or QAQC specific audits or visits; Provide regular inspection & activity reports.
- Follow up on the implementation of decided action plans or other mitigation plan issued.
- Review and approve the different inspection reports issued by the Contractor and/or Subcontractors/Vendors on a daily basis.
- Use the CPP Topsides Jacket Bridge and Flare 3D model tool to check/to anticipate potential clash during structural erection.
- Ensure that Contractor and Vendors personnel are qualified for the task theyve been assigned to.
- Issue NonConformance reports or review Contractor NonConformance reports and validate dispositions. Intervene as necessary where warranted.
- Issue and/or participate in the issuance of CMS Deviation applicable to Structure activity.
- Participate in the resolution of DEV and TQ with the support of MP Structural Engineer.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
- Major Projects involve the development of new offshore platforms and subsea lines. Projects are executed across several international sites and will require complex interfaces with other entities of Company.
- CPP JKT/BRG/FLR Structure Superintendent will be based in EPC Contractors premises in China during the whole EPC execution and could be relocated back to Doha during Offshore Hookup campaigns.
- CPP JKT/BRG/FLR Structure Superintendent will may need to perform missions to China SubContractor workshop or yard throughout the Prefabrication phase.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelors degree or Company approved equivalent in engineering.
- Professional Experience (number of years): 15.
- Experience within project: (number of years): 10.
- Structural experience is required on topsides EPCIC Project and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as AWS API ISO ASTM NACE and SSPC.
- Experience in Construction yard is required.
- A good knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Standards and International codes/standards related to design fabrication inspection and precommissioning.
- Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
- Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing database management spreadsheets and email communications.
- Familiar with PRODOM/MANASA a benefit
- Language: English mandatory.
- H2S OPITO and TBOSIET trainings.
