Description
As a Volunteer Services Coordinatorat ChildServe youll be responsible for coordinating functions of the Volunteer Services program including matching volunteers to opportunities training/orientation database management and assisting with various activities and events.
Schedule
- PartTime Hours: Approximately 5 hours per day Monday through Friday totaling 2025 hours per week.
- Must be available to work until 5:00 PM at least one day per week.
- Communicate with volunteers staff and community members through phone email and quarterly highlights and act as the goto for external volunteerrelated questions and guidance.
- Partner with services to identify volunteer needs. Match volunteers with opportunities and provide orientation and support throughout the volunteer lifecycle.
- Create coordinate and maintain childrenfocused activity kits that are shared with internal teams.
- Maintain the volunteer database in the electronic system and support the volunteer flow. Assist with completion of compliance requirements. Maintain accurate records of volunteer activities and participation.
- Support event planning and coordination including logistics setup and outreach.
- Help with social media updates content or community engagement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- One year of administrative experience. Prior volunteer services experience preferred.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively and professionally in reading writing and speaking the English language.
