  • Base salary listed offered based on experience accelerator commissions earned on sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by actively prospecting researching and pursuing new business opportunities. Travel extensively to meet with potential customers presenting our premium products and closing deals to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Territory Management: Ensures all customer agreements pricing and programs are accurate and communicated to finance and operations contacts and activities are accurate and up to date in CRM programs and merchandising are executed with customers and orders are fulfilled and delivered according to customer expectations.
  • Customer Acquisition Development & Retention: Identify cultivate and expand business with both new and existing customers throughout the assigned territory.
  • Sales Planning: Executes on a selling plan and process that outlines how and when sales goals will be achieved on a monthly seasonal and annual basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Required: 5 years of successful outside sales experience with a proven track record of selling to wholesalers in a multistate territory
  • Required: Reliable transportation and a readiness to travel across your assigned region
  • Preferred: 4year college degree in a relevant field (e.g. Sales Business Horticulture Agriculture)
  • Significant Advantage: Prior experience or a strong passion for the Horticulture Agriculture or related green industry fields (landscaping garden centers nurseries)
