We are seeking aGraduate Engineer (Air and Climate)to join our Western Canada Air Noise and Compliance team based in ourVancouver BC office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with intermediate and senior staff on all aspects of project work including document review air quality and greenhouse gas emission calculations and the preparation of compliance reports.
  • Reviewing interpreting and applying relevant provincial and federal acts and regulations.
  • Compiling interpreting and evaluating data against applicable regulatory standards.
  • Conducting site visits and fieldwork for projects across Alberta British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
  • Working as part of GHDs Canadian Air Noise and Compliance Group which includes over 60 engineers and scientists.
  • Providing support on sustainability and other environmental projects as needed.

Skills Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Environmental Mechanical or a related engineering discipline.
  • Foundational understanding of air quality and climate change principles; coop or internship experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail in a consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with air quality and climate change regulations in BC and Alberta.
  • Flexibility to take on various project types and responsibilities.
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license and willingness to travel for fieldwork.

Salary Range: $7074k based on experience.
