Aerospace Supplier Quality Auditor
Pay: $50000-$65000/yr
Location: North of Tulsa Area
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Aerospace Supplier Quality Auditor to strengthen and monitor our supply chain quality systems. The Aerospace Supplier Quality Auditor will be responsible for auditing qualifying and managing suppliers to ensure compliance with FAA 145 EASA AS9100 NADCAP and customer-specific requirements while supporting continuous improvement across the supply base.
Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10 years of aerospace quality or supplier quality experience
- Working knowledge of FAA Part 145 AS9100 ISO 9001 NADCAP requirements
- Familiarity with aerospace processes (heat treating shot peening plating thermal spray grinding etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Skilled in root cause analysis and CAPA processes (8D 5-Why Fishbone)
- Auditor certification (AS9100 Lead Auditor or ISO 9001 Auditor) preferred
- Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; QMS software experience a plus
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically for supplier audits
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site and remote supplier audits for FAA/EASA AS9100 and NADCAP compliance
- Qualify new suppliers and monitor/re-qualify existing suppliers
- Develop and manage supplier scorecards and track corrective actions
- Review and approve FAIs and supplier quality documentation
- Investigate and resolve supplier non-conformances with CAPA implementation
- Collaborate with procurement/engineering to define supplier quality expectations
- Support FAA and customer audits maintaining compliance records
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
