• Contract Type: Probationary

Specific Position Duties:

• Possess a strong background in organizing tournaments and managing sports teams is an asset.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a Class 2 drivers license and S Endorsement.
• Willing to obtain certifications to support the physical education program.

Qualifications and General Duties:

• A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Experience working with Google Suite
• Shall be a dynamic studentcentered educator committed to maximizinglearning in a safe and caring environment
• Experience and/or training in the application of Assessment for Learning strategies embedded formative assessment and varied summative assessments is essential
• Possessa strong background in the use of technology to enhance student learning
• Ability to create a positive learning environment and foster positive professionalrelationships with students
• Is dependable with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in a team setting
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to professional growth and continually increasing their effectivenessas an educator
• A willingness to participate in extracurricularactivities would be considered an asset
