Make a Difference

The Ambulatory Medical Assistant or LPNworks hand in hand with the Physician to achieve quality outcomes for the patient.The AmbulatoryLPN or MAwill assist the provider of a health care site with facilitation of patient visits and procedures routine laboratory tests referrals and quality outcomes for the population of the practice. Helps cover backoffice patient care and administrative responsibilities in the event of clinician illness approved timeoff jury duty funeral time times of high census other growth needs determined/identified by practice management team. This position is located in the Cardiac Clinic at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital 8075 N. Shadeland Ave. in Indianapolis IN.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

LPN

  • Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing or Graduate from a nonaccredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience. (Required)
  • Previous experience in medical office or health care setting. (Preferred)
  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)

Medical Assistant

  • High School Diploma or GED & Graduate or certificate of completion from a Medical Assisting program (Required)
  • Medical Assistant Certification/Registration is required. Qualifying certifications/registrations:CMA (AAMA) NCMA (NCCT) RMA (AMT) CCMA (NHA) and NRCMA (NAHP)
