The Center for LongTerm Care Licensure Planning and Finance is looking for a parttime social worker who is a subject matter expert for the Program of AllInclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of the new Article 29EE PACE Program
Assist in the development of the application materials to ensure the inclusion of the current Article 44 requirements
Provide information regarding the application process with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
Assist with the development of policies and procedures for the PACE program
Draft replies to inquiries about the PACE Program
Assist in the development of tools training reports and other materials for the PACE Program
Handle any other ad hoc assignments as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) OR must possess a Masters degree and one year experience in Social Work (this can include advocacy or administration in a health care facility setting). In addition the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders; working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; experience with complex data entry systems; strong problem solving and decisionmaking skills; the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working for the NYS Department of Health or the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
