Job Description
Our client a leader in advanced technology systems for defence and security is urgently seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join their Industrialisation Department. This is a highimpact role ideal for a technically strong professional with a passion for safety performance and reliability testing across a variety of missioncritical products.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead reliability testing (Environmental EMC HALT ESS) in compliance with MILSTD ISO IEC and other applicable standards.
- Provide technical input during the design phase to ensure product compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
- Conduct failure investigations using Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Draft and manage qualification plans aligned with legal contractual and internal standards.
- Serve as the designated Systems Safety Engineer ensuring safety is prioritised across the entire product lifecycle.
- Prepare and issue compliance documentation (ROHS/REACH safety and thirdparty certificates).
- Develop and implement internal processes for compliance and environmental stress testing.
- Lead and mentor a team of reliability engineers and technicians.
- Consult with internal stakeholders (engineering product development sales and manufacturing) on reliability and compliance matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (BSc/BEng) preferably with honours.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in reliability engineering including EMC environmental and HALT/HASS testing.
- Deep understanding of ISO IEC MILSTD ROHS REACH and EU safety directives.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and handson skills.
- Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams.
- Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
- Experience drafting and executing qualification and testing plans.
